Episode Description

They eat, they sleep, they text and they occasionally have a conversation with you. “They” are your teenagers, but how many of those conversations actually let you into their world? Our Guest this week Nordica Francis, who says our tweens and teenagers should not just be mysterious strangers who come in and out of the house. In a society rife with adolescent problems and insecurities, how much do parents truly know about what goes on in their teenagers’ everyday lives? She’ll reveal the simple, yet important key to knowing what they’re thinking, how they feel about different experiences, and what’s really happening in their world, so you can help them navigate one of life’s most difficult stages. Nordica will remind parents why: The most powerful role model in a child’s life is the same sex parent; Parents need to selectively share feelings and experiences of their own with their kids and introducing teenagers to their own spirituality, not same as religion.
