Ryan Sim and Youngjoo Ahn co-host a program centering on lessons of success and courage. First up is Economics Tune Up reporter Alex Pawlakos who talks about the economics of success with the concept of opportunity cost. International best selling author and motivator T.J. Hoisington, of If You Think, You Can! Thirteen Laws that Govern the Performance of High Achievers, If You Think You Can! for Teens, and The Secret of the Slight Edge shares success strategies that stick. One of the teens favorites is that achieving success is not a matter of “if” but “when”. Author of Merminia, Emm Cole talks about creating courageous and powerful female characters in her books. Ryan launches his Global Youth Talk segment with a story centering around the brave fifteen year old Pakistani girl, Malala Yousafzai , who was shot in the head for wanting an education. Broadcasting since 2011, twenty-seven young people from around the United States have regularly shared their passions and interests as hosts and reporters on Express Yourself! These teens are not afraid of the tough topics and thrill at the opportunity of interviewing a variety of guests including authors, actors, Olympians, scientists, musicians, poets, and experts of varied disciplines.
