Since the dawn of cinema, there has always been pressure for movie stars to project the right image, especially women, but in the last quarter century the demand to look great at Hollywood Red Carpet events, premiers, and award shows has become almost a full time job. TV is littered with award shows showcasing outrageous fashions and fabulous faces. Our hosts, Youngjoo Ahn and Katelyn Darrow take a look behind the scenes of the Golden Globes, SAG Awards, Oscars, Grammies, and more to see what designers don the red carpet and what’s in the goody bags. Talent manager, Alexis Reusser, who has major stars on GLEE, CSI, House and more, gives us an inside tour of back stage Hollywood. Through collaboration and conversation, a global campus of young people express their views. Topics include anything that kids talk about-books, music, making a difference, technology, school, art, humor, writing, tough talks, health, sports, films, family, friends, foes, fashion, and fun. Broadcasting since 2011, twenty-seven young people from around the United States have regularly shared their passions and interests as hosts and reporters on Express Yourself! These teens are not afraid of the tough topics and thrill at the opportunity of interviewing a variety of guests including authors, actors, Olympians, scientists, musicians, poets, and experts of varied disciplines.
