Episode Description
Listening to your body and responding to the information that it is giving you is essential your health and wellbeing. A fast paced, high tech, wired lifestyle can create relentless stress on your nervous system; sometimes you just need to unplug. All too often the busyness and electronic noise of the world around you overshadows the most basic sensations that are going on within. Throughout the day your body communicates fundamental signals like hunger, thirst and the need for a bathroom break; yet many people feel they are too busy to respond. Other sensations like stiff shoulders, a sore neck, back pain, headaches, or eyestrain indicate that something is out of balance. Awareness is the first step followed by taking appropriate action to bring your body back into balance. The body and mind need to work together to create wellbeing. Tune in this week as we explore techniques designed to help you listen and respond to the innate wisdom of your body.
