Tiger Woods made a great statement during a tournament, when the commentator asked him what he does after hitting a bad shot. Tiger made a simple but profound statement, “You just play the shot you got.” In sales, business, and life, we all need to understand that we can’t rewind the first half of the year, we just have to play the shot we got. There are many coaches that sometimes burn the last game tape when it was really bad, because there is nothing positive to learn from it. Sometimes, we start so well that we get too comfortable with our success in the first half. Whether you ahead of or behind where you wanted to be at this point in the year, we need to assess our current position to finish strong(er) in the second half of the year.
