Our society has dropped the ball on Human Kindness. Why? We have replaced technology and obtaining whatever we desire instantly delivered to our doorstep, without thought or consequence to our environment or ourselves.

Our show will bring you the possibility to be evoked, educated and empowered to make changes in your own life.

Won't you join me on my journey to pick up the ball of human kindness and to spread the notion that when we put "our fears" aside, no one will ever be treated without common courtesy? When fearful, we turn into something terrible, all because of the fear we feel.

Let's truly become the "melting pot" that we were meant to be! Come and listen to national and international guests, who will give us an ear full of their experiences with kindness, and how they are making a dent in helping overcome all social issues.

Gabriella van Rij

Born in Pakistan in the 60’s, adopted three years later by an affluent Dutch family, Gabriella knows firsthand what it is like not to fit in. Gabriella has learned how to adapt and how fear of one another brings distrust and disaccord to relationships. This has translated into two topics we only know too well: bullying and racism. Bullying is an epidemic worldwide. Gabriella will use her voice to help eradicate and try to save one child at a time.

She has travelled extensively around the world learning two of the most valuable lessons in life: losing fear finding self, and It’s OK not to belong. It’s OK to have one leg in the East and one in the West and to belong to neither.

She is now the author of With All my Might, which is her inaugural offering as International Activist and Advocate. With All My Might is a retrospective on her life and three major dates as told to a Dutch journalist set against the backdrop of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, British Columbia. The three dates used by Gabriella as a foundation for her compelling story are those of her multicultural adoption into a Dutch family, the birth of her only daughter, and the death of her adopted mother. These dates are used to weave together a story addressing the universal issues of family, intolerance, bullying, racism, not belonging, and ultimately acceptance.

Personal Quote: “I dare to live, dare to love, dare to give, dare to be, passionate with all of me” - G.N.A. van Rij
