Staying in the Markets While Reducing Risk
June 3, 2013
Hosted by Jordan Goodman
Our guest today, James D. Awad, currently serves as Chairman of Plimsoll Mark Capital, a division of Zephyr Management. L.P. Plimsoll Mark Capital is a global wealth advisory firm providing independent investment management solutions to wealthy families and individuals. We will talk with James about the plus and minus on the markets- the plus is the US economy is growing, corporate profits are growing, central banks are flooding the markets with liquidity, corporate balance sheets are in good shape, stocks are not expensive, and there are no powerful investment alternatives to stocks. The negatives are stocks are no longer cheap, stocks are up a lot, there is speculation in the credit markets, the Fed is going to become less easy and there is risk of war…so stay in but reduce risk and migrate to conservative dividend paying stocks and sell low quality credit and equity.
