Episode Description

Donnie Tash, a psychotherapist, was a reluctant psychic. Emerging from a coma after surgical complications he had abilities he had never had before. Much to his own surprise, he was able t o communicate with those who have crossed over to the other side as well as communicate with animals. He is currently a co-founder of the website, which is an interactive and educational site dedicated to the psychic/metaphysical realm. The goal of the site is to present all of this information in an understandable and down-to-earth way. The site offers first-hand and unique insights about the afterlife from his experiences as a psychic medium, among other things. We will talk about his fascinating life change, his work with the psychic library as well as his work with both people and animals. I met him at a holistic health gathering and for the first time in the ten year history of the gathering, animals were present and simply led their owners to Donnies booth. I watched it as it happened. I have a cat with a very bad habit of using the spot under the piano instead of the litter box which Donnie knew about before I met him.

The Self Improvement Show

The Self Improvement Show

Thursday at 12 Noon Pacific Time on VoiceAmerica Empowerment Channel

The Self Improvement Show was created because almost everyone wants to be better, do better, and achieve more, but we don't always know how to do that. We aren't looking for perfection. We are simply trying to improve in ways that allow us more happiness, contentment and success with some laughter along the way. We address issues common to us all and suggest useful tools that will help you tap into your strengths and your wonderful uniqueness. We think most self improvement is an "inside job" so we talk a lot about how to "go within" to make lasting changes. We talk to people who have struggled and won and have great stories to tell as well as those who live ordinary lives in extraordinary ways. The show is laid back, informative and down to earth. The welcome mat is always out and we invite you to join us.

Dr. Irene Conlan

Dr. Irene Conlan

Dr. Irene Conlan is serious about helping you find the tools you need to achieve your self improvement goals and begin to experience the happiness you deserve and desire.

She has a Masters degree in nursing and a Ph.D. in metaphysics. Irene has taught nursing at ASU, served as Administrator of Nursing at a major Phoenix hospital, and served as Assistant Director in the Arizona Department of Health Services. A certified hypnotherapist, Irene has had her own therapy practice for the past 16 years.

Irene believes that in this stressful world we need help more than ever. We rush from one place to the next, to work, the store, to appointments, to get our kids to soccer practice, ballet, gymnastics, school or the mall. We can be found 24/7 by email, cell phone, or pager. We are stretched to the max and wonder why we can’t sleep, can’t think, and can’t relax. We are enticed by drugs, alcohol and sex to give us an outlet or deal with the stress and many choose to use them. Some rage. Some over-exercise. Some go out and shoot other people. Some simply quit.

In this frenetic activity there is one constant – we are each looking for happiness. Ask the addict, the thief, the anorexic, the debutante, the CEO, service professionals, people you meet on the street or while shopping – ask them what they want. They will, if they can verbalize it, tell you what they truly want is happiness.

Let’s talk about the improvements we can make that help us be happy now.
