We will be discussing the LGBT culture this week. As a mother of 2 gay adult children, we will be discussing many of the points of view from within the LGBT community as well as those outside. With an increasing number of states approving gay marriage, yet other states even revoking abortion rights, this fierce topic is sure to have some surprises! On the eve of Atlanta Pride weekend we will be exploring some of the judgments surrounding the gay community, including the judgments used within their own community – such as did you know there are names for all types of gays? You may have heard of a butch or fem but have you heard of a chapstick lesbian or lipstick lesbian? What if your sexual orientation was not significant and didn’t define who YOU are?
