Meditation is a loosely used word w/many meanings & even more false ideas about what it is, what it isn't, who does something like that, who doesn't, why we would meditate & what it's supposed to deliver. Basically, we approach meditation w/the very mind & its expectations that we're seeking to rewire - a bit of a conundrum! It's funny too, in Alison's experience, how modern minds (hers did too!) expect it to be goal oriented - and then find difficulty when the "goal" isn't clear cut, as we're used to - leaving people to conclude they've failed, they can't do it, and so give up. In this show Alison, a meditation - and Yoga Alliance, India Trained Yoga - teacher of 17 years who lived in Asia for 10 years studying, exploring and teaching Buddhist meditation will guide listeners through Buddha's most commonly taught meditation, before any schools shaped around it and into different traditions. You will be able to go back and re-use this every day to ensure you progress so you can thrive!

Alison J. Kay, PhD Holistic Life Coach & Energy Healer, has helped many understand and transform from their self-sabotaging behaviors and core energetic patterns behind their suffering - whether it's physical illness, mental depression, emotional angst or spiritual crisis - into the Higher Self; a new and improved, lighter versions of themselves. Finally, to assist in her ability to ground the spiritual into the physical, Alison is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, with 20 years of vegetarian eating, and 25 years of endurance athleticism & weight training.
