What is more challenging for a global executive than managing across cultures & value systems? The inability to see the world from a counterpart's POV & decode their mind-set has derailed many a cross-border venture. After 30 years and 100+ countries, Thomas Zweifel, international executive coach has been forged in the fire of clashing cultures. Having made just about every mistake in the book, he's developed "fool-proof" methods & practical techniques for managing successfully across borders. Author of the new book "Culture Clash 2.0," he returns to Global Reach to talk about the do’s & taboos of global citizenship. How to decode a national or corporate culture. Use empathy as a strategic tool. Lead across cultures & become "glocal". Parachute into any culture & get the job done while respecting local customs. Navigate cross-cultural(CC)M&A. Use CC strategy as an asset for innovation. Orchestrate global meetings that build strategic alignment. Go from multinational to metanational.
