CleanTech Open – Government Shutdown Update – Homeland Security – Trilateral Commission
October 3, 2013
Hosted by Squire Patton Boggs
Even though the federal government is amidst a shutdown, yet our show will continue without interruption. Bret Boyles will guest host this week’s Capital Thinking and Josh Greene will take the mic first to update us on recent developments with the CleanTech Open. Next, first time guest Greg Louer will provide specific updates on operations of health & safety agencies, such as MSHA, OSHA, the DOL Solicitor’s Office, during the shutdown. Then, if you are a fan of the Showtime espionage thriller Homeland, you will want to hear what Alexis Early has to say about the real state of homeland security in this country. Alexis will discuss where the Department of Homeland Security, which was established 10 years ago, currently stands and what its future might hold. Finally, Clark Ervin recently became a member of the Trilateral Commission. He will chat with Bret about the mission and objectives of the commission in today’s global world.
