Episode Description

Once upon a time, biometric screenings were performed as part and parcel of an annual physical examine, reviewed by an individual’s physician. Today, they are a major component of most comprehensive company wellness programs. They provide baseline information to the employee on where they are and, year-over-year, show the extent of health progression. Whether your company tracks the basics of cholesterol lipid panels and glucose or follows the data out to BMI and blood pressure, it takes full employee engagement to get the real picture. Joining me on this episode is Justin Bellante, CEO of BioIQ. Justin will address the root causes of under-utilization and engagement in outcomes based programs. Namely, they must be easy to access, user-friendly and have a modern technology platform to which your employees can relate. What story does your dashboard tell? Listen in to learn how BioIQ is changing the game.

We cover absenteeism, productivity, incentives, disease management, fitness, stress, ergonomic design and more.

The health of our nation is no longer about personal choices. Obesity and diseases affect us all. They also affect the bottom line of all businesses, large and small. Creating a culture of health in the workplace is no longer optional, it is essential to a healthy balance sheet. Health programming need not be expensive. Failure to actively participate is costly.

My goals are to inform, enlighten and sometimes entertain you. Let’s make a difference in our world today!
