Making fitness a priority is not always easy! Sometimes it feels like a constant battle, and our biggest enemy is our excuses! We all have obstacles and challenges we face every day that can become excuses that prevent us from living a healthy life. We use the obstacles in our lives not only as excuses, but as validation to ourselves that it’s just not possible to make fitness a priority right now. We let ourselves off the hook, and tell ourselves that we will get to it when we have more time. The problem is that that magical day we are waiting for when we will no longer be too busy doesn’t really exist. The realization that everyone has to eventually make is that in order to live a happier and healthier life, you have to make fitness a priority now regardless of what obstacles you face. My goal with this show is to help you win the fight against your excuses, so that you can reach your fitness goals no matter what challenges you face. Today you start winning!

This show is designed to help you make fitness a priority! Everyone sees how important fitness is in living a healthy life, but many people still fail to make it a priority. Most of us have very busy schedules. Some have kids at home who are always involved in activities. Some have to travel a lot for work. We use all of these obstacles as excuses to eat unhealthy meals and skip workouts. We put fitness off because we think we are too busy in the present, and we tell ourselves that we will get to it when we have more time. The problem is that the day we are waiting for, when we will have more time to dedicate to getting in better shape, will most likely never come. The only way to begin living a healthier life is to make fitness a priority regardless of how busy you are. It won’t always be easy, but it is a fight that anyone can win. All you have to do is make a decision to do it! Be Fit for Life will help you win the fight against your excuses!
My name is Chad Austin. I am a personal trainer and fitness camp instructor based in Overland Park, Kansas. I have been a fitness professional since 2003. I taught high school Physical Education, Health, Strength and Conditioning, and coached wrestling from 2003 to 2006. I then found my true passion as a personal trainer. I first worked for a well-known company, as a personal trainer for four years, and then in 2010 Chad Austin Fitness was born. I have certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine in Personal Training, Corrective Exercise, and Sports Performance. I am also an Insanity Certified Instructor from Beach Body. Since I began working in fitness, I have attended seminars and conventions all over the United States that have featured some of the world’s best Fitness Professionals! I’ve always believe that in order to be the best you must learn from the best!
My definition of Fitness is to constantly strive to be better than you were the day before, the week before, and the month before, in regards to your physical and mental health! Anything is possible in fitness when you take the right progressions to achieve it. I am a big advocate of the law of attraction, which simply states that you attract into your life whatever you think about. My clients learn right away that the phrase, I CAN’T DO IT is never allowed unless it is followed by the word YET. I am passionate about being a fitness professional, love being able to inspire change every day!
