Episode Description

We are living in a time of great social change: how we gather information, learn, work and play have changed in radical ways. Where do museums fit in? Is it enough for museums to reflect these social changes or can museums lead society to a new way of valuing cultural institutions? Can museums continue to offer the same recipe for engagement of exhibitions, programs and social media or is there a new paradigm we might embrace? And aren’t these the same questions we’ve been asking ourselves over the past ten years? How does real change happen? Where does leadership come from? Randy Roberts has been examining these questions and others that are at the heart of our museum practice and will share her thoughts.
