Episode Description

While the nonprofit and government sectors don’t exist to make money, now more than ever they must be profitable in order to survive. Increasing earned revenue by establishing and growing a sound sales strategy is crucial to this effort. Join John Jeanetta and his guest, Jill Slupe, CEO of Verde Martin, Inc., a sales acceleration firm in Omaha and Chicago that helps for profit, nonprofit, and government entities to launch new markets and products, expand operations, reduce the cost of sales, and improve their bottom lines, as they discuss this timely topic. Learn from Jill as she shares examples where she converted U.S. Air Force operations to for-profit entities, helped a human services agency develop a successful sales strategy for its early childhood education substance abuse prevention curriculum, and assisted a local Humane Society to restructure its pricing and marketing models to not only increase revenue but also move adoptable pets more quickly into loving homes.
