Hosted by Peter Weitz
At some point in your stock picking career you may have heard “throw darts at a wall.” “I buy the stocks of the places where I shop” or “Sell at The Masters and buy at The World Series”. What do they think about differently than we do as the amateur stock picker? Today’s we are joined by Kevin Lane who was voted by BusinesWeek magazine as one of the premier equity analysts in America. While most of the accolades go to the big Wall Street companies, experts such as Lane still command the respect of other investment pros for his research. Why? Researchers such as Lane are early risers and skeptics, detail junkies who bury themselves in balance sheets and complex stock models. They make money for their clients in good and bad markets and they are successful based on discipline and data. Tune in today as Kevin explains his process of how to pick a stock.
