Ed Spencer’s American Auction View is here to inform you of how auctions affect and serve the entire USA. Auctions establish markets and commerce that affect everyone and are a major factor in how business is transacted.

You will learn how merchandise can be turned into cash the auction way. Auctions can be used as a way to market land, residential property, livestock, classic cars, automobiles, farm and construction equipment, antiques, coins and household goods.

The general public, executors of estates, attorneys, retail and wholesale merchandisers will all benefit by learning how to use the auction method.

I have been a professional auctioneer since 1974, after graduacting from Reisch World Wide College of Auctioneering in Mason City, Iowa. Since that time, I have been involved in the auction merchandising livestock, selling livestock auctions in Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and Utah.

I have a strong background in the sale of farms and land at auction over the past 35 years through Ed Spencer Real Estate and Auction Company, and Farms America. I have sold countless farms and millions of dollars in land and property and hundreds of auctions for machinery, estates, antiques, commercial, and general merchandise. My company has conducted auctions to benefit various organizations such as Pheasants Forever, Quail Unlimited, and Wild Turkey Federation, Ted Nugent’s Kamp for Kids, Big Buck Classic and the NRA. Since the mid 1970’s we have conducted countless farm machinery auctions, commercial liquidations, antique and estate auctions and firearms.
