Power up your day with Josh Greene on this Thursday’s Capital Thinking. An already familiar voice to the program, Josh will take over hosting duties for the first time as the Energy & Environment Hour features energy industry leaders and professionals from both public and private sectors for an energetic discussion about energy on both macro and micro levels. Rich Bradley, Executive Director of the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (DCBID), will be up first to discuss DCBID’s diligent work on sustainability initiatives, energy efficiency, and the EcoDistrict initiative. Next, Phil Adams, President and CEO of World Energy, will share creative solutions offered by the company to lower energy costs and the best ways to procure energy. Then, Kateri Callahan, President of the Alliance to Save Energy, will focus on the importance of energy-efficiency in our society today and address some initiatives geared toward improving efficiency. Finally, Bill Eger, Energy Manager for the City of Alexandria, Virginia, and author of the City’s Energy$aver blog, will tell us about various efforts made and planned to transform Alexandria into an Eco-City. ________________________________ Energy & Environment Hour with Josh Greene brings forth innovative ideas, thought leadership and timely analysis of current energy and environment topics.
