During World War 2, Winston Churchill was Britain's war time Prime Minister. At the height of the war effort, Churchill worked eighteen hours a day. In the face of threats of direct attack by Hitler, and even when the attacks came, his hours at his desk increased even more. When asked if he felt any anxiety at the military onslaught, or perhaps worry over his enormous responsibilities at a time that found Britain at its most vulnerable, Churchill merely responded: "No time to worry. I am too busy. I have no time to worry." Churchill merely gave credence to a well-known and effective strategy for crowding out anxious thoughts from our minds. Today's show will teach you that you can ensure that the demons of anxiety do not establish residence in your mind by remaining preoccupied with work.
