Stacey Starling

Stacey Starling, PhD is the founding principal of the Starling Center. The Starling Center is a progressive firm that focuses on the performance needs of organizations that serve older adults and people with disabilities. With more than 10,000 baby boomers turning 65 each day, the appeal to transform the culture of aging within provider environments is front and center in health care reform. Alongside this endeavor, people at the point of service are faced with the challenge to successfully navigate aging and disabilities service systems in their pursuit to live their best life and age positively. With more than twenty years of experience in human development, Stacey believes that organizations transform when the people transform. Transformation and positive change require “deep learning” that challenges the assumptions, beliefs, and values that drive our actions and interactions. Stacey’s passion is to promote growth and constructive change, wherein people realize their own internal resources and expand their capacities. Central to her approach is transformative learning, strength-based methods, and the cultivation of dynamic relationships.
