Episode Description

From natural disasters, like earthquakes, to man-made disasters, like terrorism, mass casualties are in the news more than ever. And even though they are happening all over the world, many of us still tell ourselves, "It will never happen to me!" Today's guests are part of Magen David Adom, Israel's national emergency medical, ambulance, blood bank and disaster services, an organization that saves lives worldwide. Yonatan Yagodovsky is the Director of International Relations of MDA, and has been involved in the response to almost every mass casualty incident in Jerusalem in the last 25 years. Erik Levis is the Assistant Director of American Friends of Magen David Adom, and helps people understand how the knowledge gathered in Israel, can save their life, too.
