So should you derive your strength and resilience from a calm, tranquil center. You should always strive to make room for silence in your life, and at the center of your being. Silence develops peace of mind, and depth of life, to fertilize that deep place where your personality grows. When your life has a peaceful center, you will be able to weather all storms and develop great strength. You will also develop the special qualities of inner strength, poise, composure, amazing insight and understanding, and a depth of soul, and a quality of mind of enduring superiority. An important step is to learn the art of emotional self-management, and a very useful tool for this is the constant practice of meditation, with which you can eventually develop such a habit of mental peace that it will be difficult to shake your composure.
