Being Busy with Actor Alyvia Alyn
July 22, 2014
Hosted by The Express Yourself! STAR On-Air Teen Team
Is being busy a good or bad thing? Our teens believe that being overwhelmed is bad while doing what you love is great-even if it means being super busy. How do we find the time to do it all? Hosts Youngjoo Ahn and Clare Durant lead the discussion on our American obsession with constantly “doing and being so busy!” Techie Talk reporter, Caiseen Kelley shares two apps that have helped her family, friends, and self keep on task while eliminating the stress of a hectic schedule. In The Big Picture, Clare reminds us about the importance of play to avoid burn out. Special guest, six year old actress and rising star, Alyvia Alyn, is excitedly juggling several movies, TV shows, interviews, and home schooling with her passion for her family, dog, singing, dancing, and karate. Catch her in her latest film, Blended, as well as her TV series, Revenge, and daytime soap, The Young and the Restless. Alyvia’s enthusiasm is contagious! Book It! Reporter, Courtney Cheng admits that she is a list maker who writes a list reminding her to write a list, yet she is working on seven habits to be more effective. Remember you are in control of the way you feel and by incorporating enjoyable activities into your life, you will feel more energized. Get busy being alive! Play and do what you love!
