In this episode, we featured Suzanne Fallender and her innovative work focusing on the empowerment of women & girls at once of America’s largest corporations, INTEL. Other topics covered include Intel’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), their Women & Girls Global Initiative that is addressing the need for 66,000,000 million girls not receiving an education, and their involvement in being an anchor partner and sponsor in the documentary film, GIRL RISING. Suzanne also shared details from Pearson Foundation’s making of the film and the curriculum they designed for schools while screening Girl Rising. We also learned about recent research findings from INTEL’s –“Women & Web Global Report,” INTEL’s commitment to getting more girls into STEM Careers through their global commitment to SHECONNECTS, their sponsorship of both GIRLS WHO CODE, the National Center for Women In Technology’s Program “AspireIT,” and INTEL’s collaboration with the Half the Sky Movement. Women INVESTING in Women and Girls is produced and broadcasted by young women and teenage girls between the ages of 16-19. Our show is focused on Global Women Issues from perspectives of young women. We will be interviewing leading women in politics, business, academia, non-profits, media, and culture; working closely and synergistically with the Women INVESTING in Women Institute, founded by Ms. Anu Bhardwaj.

Women INVESTING in Women and Girls was created to engage the voices of women who are redefining gender equality by shaping the minds of the young women and men, engaged in our global dialogue. Although our conversation will be focused on women, men are strongly encouraged to participate. Follow our Global Economic Revolution which has reached over 150,000 followers in over 100 countries! Ms. Anu Bhardwaj is the Founder of the Women INVESTING in Women Institute which comprises of a social media platform with over 150,000 followers in over 100 countries, the Global WIIW and Girls Voice America Kids Radio Show reaching over 5.6 Million Listeners a month, globally, and the 2014 WIIW Global Summit Series which will be taking place in New York City, Stockholm, Johannesburg, Dubai, Muscat, San Diego, Scottsdale, Singapore, Melbourne, and Santiago. Ms. Bhardwaj is extremely passionate about the economic empowerment of young women and girls in transforming our global economy.

Her specialties include international business development for private equity professionals, women in private equity, women in philanthropy, high-growth women entrepreneurs and Angel Networks/Angel Capital focusing on women.

Michelle Jaffee is one of four children, which includes her older sister, older brother, and twin brother. She is a junior at Pinnacle High School, where she is also the Fundraising Director of DECA and an active member of National Honors Society, Key Club, Society of Women Scholars, Care, and the Spanish Honors Society. During her high school career, Michelle has won 10 medals as part of her involvement for DECA, an international co-curricular organization focusing on teaching student skills in leadership and business. Besides being heavily invested in on-campus clubs and organizations, Michelle prides herself on being strong in her academics, taking all higher-level Honors and AP classes.

Michelle was selected to be Host of the Women INVESTING in Women and Girls Global Radio Show given her discipline in working with a rapidly scaling Global organization, enthusiasm for Global Women’s Issues, and strong interest in entrepreneurship and community service. Michelle will be interviewing speakers from our various Global WIIW Summits in 2014-2015 and ultimately hopes to attend University on the East Coast, leading to a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
