Chris Marquet is founder and CEO of Marquet International with more than three decades of professional experience in the private investigations, business intelligence, and security consulting industry. Chris has served a broad range of industry sectors and clients, including corporations, financial institutions, law firms, business advisors, governments and high profile individuals. Chris joined the prestigious Kroll Associates in 1983 and held senior positions, including Sr. MD, head of business development and president of its global political risk and travel security intelligence group. After 19 years with Kroll, Chris cofounded Citigate Global Intelligence and served as Exec MD, handling all service lines including business intelligence, investigations and business controls consulting. In 2006, he founded Marquet International. During his career, Chris has been involved in thousands of investigative, intelligence and security consulting projects around the world. He has also authored many articles, including the Marquet Report on Embezzlement, the Marquet Report on Ponzi Schemes, Anticipating Workplace Violence, Do You Know Who You Are Hiring, and Resume Fraud: The Top Ten Lies. He has also lectured extensively and been widely quoted. In addition to being a VoiceAmerica radio host with his own show, he also hosts and manages a popular FraudTalk blog. Chris graduated from Dartmouth College with a triple major in Physics, Economics, and Philosophy.
