October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This is a cause that is very close to my heart. I lost a good friend to breast cancer last October 4. This show is dedicated to her and all the others who have lost their fight with cancer. My guest is Faye Sporleder and she will be discussing with me survival, loss, and action. Often it’s our spirituality that gets crushed first, followed by our emotional self and then the physical problems begin. In this show we will discuss different modalities to heal ourselves spirituality, emotionally, and physically heal ourselves.

Patti Campbell

Hello my name is Patti Campbell. As a spiritual healer, Reiki master, certified hypnotist, and licensed massage therapist I enjoy helping others help themselves heal.

Throughout my life I have had many experiences, some good and some not so pleasant. Through these experiences I have been enlightened and empowered to share and educate others to heal, as I have been able to heal. It is my hope to inspire you to take a morsel of my story or experience and use it on your life’s journey and feel better.

I have been the owner of the Green Room Spa, LLC in McGregor, Iowa for ten years. Prior to that, I owned two other successful businesses, which are still in operation with new owners. Since 2004 I have been a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. I carry a certification administered by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I am licensed to practice massage in Wisconsin and Iowa, and I currently hold the position of Vice President of the local Chamber of Commerce in McGregor, Iowa.

I have been very happily married to Kevin for 26 years. I have two adult sons, both married, and five wonderful grandchildren.

My name is Nola Childs. I grew up the oldest of five children in the Midwest, my father drove a truck and my mother was a housewife. We were vegetarians for a while eating no meat, but lots of dairy. We slowly began to eat beef, chicken, and fish later in my childhood. We grew gardens, went fishing, walked nearly everywhere and were active. Gregory B. Clark, M.A. I am a Fellow with AAETS and the NCCM. I am a Vietnam veteran (WIA ’68,) and I flew Search & Rescue helicopters for 8 years (’78-’80 in California, and ’81-’85 in Iowa.) Since 1983 to current I have helped initiate, facilitate, and co-found many outstanding and resourceful organizations in several communities.

I provide general counseling services to the public in rural N.E. Iowa and S.W. Wisconsin. I travel and provide counseling services to the rural veteran communities in 3 N.E. Iowa counties, and serve the veterans of rural S.W. Wisconsin. I also serve as a “Military Family and Life Consultant,” providing education and other services to returning Iraqi and Afghanistan veterans and their families. Laura Gentry, known as Laughing Laura, is an internationally known motivational speaker and the Founding Director of the Iowa School of Laughter Yoga. She's also an ordained minister in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and is currently the pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Lansing, Iowa. William Lansing

William Lansing of Worthington, IA with Lansing Essential Oils. Lansing has a large family of 8 children, 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He has gained expertise in the use of natural products to assist in emotional release through years of personal use, studying, training with Gary Young and other leaders in the industry. He started using oils in 2000 after an auto accident left him with back and emotional issues. During treatment, he met with a representative of essential oils, who exposed him to a procedure call “Rain Drop” which started a process of healing. Within hours he experienced great relief and was able to go back to doing some physical labor, which he was unable to do before using the oils. Lynn Van Praagh-Gratton



Utilizing her unique gift, Lynn conveys messages of hope, healing, and love to those who have suffered the loss of loved ones. These messages bring closure, peace, and love to people all over the country. Lynn comes from a humble family in Bayside, New York. Lynn's mother had the gift as do some of her siblings. After high school, Lynn was a stay at home mom and then went on to become a Flight Service Manager at American Airlines. It wasn’t until her husband’s untimely death that she fully embraced her gifts and began to share them with those in need. After retiring from the airlines, she began to focus more on her ability and sharing her gift with others. Lynn has four children and is a grandmother to six. Lynn never imagined the worlds that have opened to her over these past few years.

Throughout her life, Lynn has experienced many difficulties along her path. Through her faith and her abilities, she has been able to forge ahead and remain strong. She offers her gift to individuals, groups and at larger events nationwide. In addition to being a messenger, Lynn is a mentor to those in her field and will continue to train and work with those also blessed with giftedness. Lynn is also working on her first of two books. The first will tell of her journey and the other of how we all receive messages from our loved ones who have gone on before us.

SSG Travis Reichert



SSG Travis Reichert served in the US Army 2000 – 2012. He was medically retired after sustaining a traumatic brain injury. He was stationed in Korea 2001 to 2003 and his unit was the first unit in history to be deployed to an active war zone from foreign soil. He served 2 consecutive tours in Iraq and a 3rd tour in Afghanistan. He now resides in Bloomington Wisconsin with his wife Elsie and 3 dogs. He works in the oil fields of North Dakota and his wife is a nail technician at the Green Room Spa in McGregor Iowa. Travis enjoys hunting and fishing.
