I hear the words my patients share with me but I focus on the whole patient and not just classification of their medical disorder. Dr. John Sindorf We talk about physical health and mental health as two separate things. Yet the health of our bodies and our minds are connected. What affects the health of one, affects the health of the other. It is impossible to separate the two. If one is out of balance, the other will be out of balance. We cannot ignore the needs of our body and have good mental health, and vice versa. Both parts of ourselves require attention to stay healthy. The good news is that it is possible to assist our minds to be healthy by paying attention to the health of our body. Having good mental health habits can help our bodies to stay healthy.
