Motherhood and Business & Future Thinking for Better Health
November 12, 2014
Hosted by Kathryn Zox
Kathryn interviews coach, entrepreneur and speaker Lara Galloway, author of “Moms Mean Business: A Guide to Creating a Successful Company and Happy Life as a Mom Entrepreneur”. American women are starting businesses at a rate of twice that of men. Most of these women are also moms. What does it take to be successful as both a mom and as an entrepreneur? Galloway gives existing and potential mom business owners the encouragement, advice, and healthy dose of “how-to” they need.
Kathryn also interviews Emory University psychologist Dr. Jennice Vilhauer, author of “Think Forward to Thrive: How to Use the Mind’s Power of Anticipation to Transcend Your Past and Transform Your Life”. Dr. Vilhauer has pioneered "Future Directed Therapy (FDT)," an acclaimed new paradigm shift in the field of psychology, which has historically focused on the past as a way to help people overcome emotional problems. Dr. Vilhauer is the Director of the Outpatient Psychotherapy Program at the Emory Clinic.
