Marriage at its easiest is still challenging. During my days as a counselor, most of what I did was marriage counseling. I found it amazing that the love that brought two people together can, over a period of time, become disconnect for many couples. Many developed a routine of chatting, but not really communicating. The result of this became the process of storing feelings, not addressing and resolving them. The top two strengthening aspects of any relationship are Communication and Continuing to Date. Join me this Thursday, February 12th, as we talk about “It Takes More Than Chatter.” We’re going to explore how pre-marriage communication can turn into the sounds of silence, take a humorous look at the groups of opposites that seem to always get married and learn a process to keep the communication flowing.
