Analysis of the President’s FY 2016 Budget Proposal

President Obama officially released his FY 2016 Budget of the US Government on Monday, February 2. As in years past, Squire Patton Boggs has released its analysis of the President’s proposal (click here for a copy), and this week’s Capital Thinking will be devoted to analyzing some key sections of the proposed budget. Host Kevin O'Neill will first be joined by David Schnittger with an overview of the key areas of the proposal and share his views on the potential for Administration and Congressional cooperation on funding the federal government. Next, former Secretary of Transportation Rodney Slater will join Kevin from the road to discuss transportation related funding and future outlook for infrastructure development and improvement in the country. Then, Al Cardenas will focus on immigration related budget discussions and delve into the future of immigration reform.
