Olivia Parr-Rud

Olivia Parr-Rud is a renowned thought-leader, speaker, author, and consultant in the areas of business intelligence, innovative leadership, and organizational alignment. She is considered a pioneer in the integration of data science and holistic organizational practices that deliver success through the optimal blending of quantitative and qualitative methodologies and practices.

Her early research and innovative advancements in data mining and business intelligence led to the writing of her best-selling book, Data Mining Cookbook, Modeling for Acquisition, Risk and Customer Relationship Management (Wiley, 2001). Realizing the need for enhanced human competencies in fast-paced, high-tech organizations, she was inspired to conduct research in the areas the communication, collaboration, innovation, adaptability, and leadership. This led to the unveiling of links between the global economy, organizational dynamics and complexity science, highlighted in her second book, Business Intelligence Success Factors, Aligning for Success in a Global Economy (Wiley/SAS, 2009).

Olivia lectures and consults internationally in the areas of business intelligence, communication, innovation, and leadership. Her current research is focused on psychology, human capital, brain science, quantum physics, evolutionary biology, systems theory, and complexity science. She holds a BA in Mathematics and an MS in Statistics.
