JD Harris
Coach JD Harris is the founder of Hi-Intensity Sports Concepts. Harris has worked with athletes around the world. Harris currently trains several football players across the country, consults for several football teams, and holds speed and agility trainings for other sports such as baseball, basketball, UFC, and softball.
Mr. Harris served as Offensive Coordinator and QB, and WR coach at Trinity International University. While at TIU, Mr. Harris was part of an Offense that was ranked 4th in the Nation. TIU also ended a play-off drought.
Additionally, he has worked in front office roles with the NFL. Mr. Harris spent 4 years with the Chicago Bears, and was part of the staff that drafted Olin Kruetz, Brian Urlacher, Roosevelt Colvin and Mike Brown. He also spent time with the Cleveland Browns and Indianapolis Colts.
Harris is the former Co-Host of Outside The Spotlight on VoiceAmerica, with Northwestern’s former Heisman Candidate, Darnell Autry. Harris and Autry covered a variety subjects on sports and entertainment. They were even part of a live Superbowl television broadcast in Indianapolis.
Harris is a native of Waukegan, Illinois. He attended Lake Forest College, where he also played football as a WR. He earned a B.A. in Communications and Sociology.
