On this week’s Capital Thinking, host Kevin O’Neill will continue last week’s discussion on the President’s FY 2016 Budget Proposal and will first be joined by Jack Deschauer and Jack Kingston (former Congressman 1993-2015) for a deconstruction of the defense budget proposal and explain the treat of sequester for FY 2016. Next, continuing the budget discussion will be Norma Krayem, who not only will talk about the President’s requested funding with regard to cybersecurity, she will also preview this year’s White House Cybersecurity Summit, which takes place on Friday, February 13 at Stanford University. Finally, Frank Samolis will discuss the current developments and outlook on a range of hot-button trade issues, including the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).
