In this show, Raina brings on her two friends Michelle and Alex. They all talk about how they were involved in their community's production of the show Oliver This performance was part of the community's Fine Arts' Center's 25th anniversary. This show not only was the first show to be performed at the Fine Arts' Center, but was a way to bring in actors who could reprise their roles in this classic show. They all discuss the cast, the story, the stage, the hazards of dancing on platforms, and the overall experience.

Raina will interview actors, singers, and dancers working in the industry to get unique and personal perspective. Tune in weekly to Break a Leg, your all things entertainment show!

Raina

Raina is multi faceted with lots of diverse interests including raising and keeping chickens, attending high school as an honor student, and she loves creating animation and making short films.

She is an accomplished performer, winning and placing in many state and national talent competitions. She has also won the Hot Pipes 2011 Singer of the Year title. Raina is a singer, actress, pianist, and an aspiring dancer. Besides being a radio host, she is also a Senior Associate Radio producer for other radio shows here at KidStar Radio.

Raina has a servant’s heart and has over 300 hours of community service. She has donated over 22” of hair to Locks of Love, and has volunteered with many organizations, including Feed My Starving Children, and Autism Speaks. Raina is also a three-time state pageant queen for the National American Miss Pageant system; this pageant focuses on community service, communication skills and building confidence.

She has been in many musicals, most recently, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. It may not be a coincidence that her name in Spanish means Queen because she dreams of becoming the future Queen of Broadway!
