From the age of 9 she was hooked on sports. However loving sports and being taken seriously as female sports reporter are two different things. In this fast paced interview Dionne shares how she navigated the playing field and what she did to be taken seriously as a women reporting sports such as football and baseball. Our second guest is Jane Hight McMurry, best selling author of Navigating the Lipstick Jungle. Jane shares many tips for listeners on how to taken seriously and get the career you want. She shares tips on networking effectively, how to interact in a team environment, and some of the mistakes women make that can cost them the job or promotion they wanted.
