How do you turn your greatest obstacle into your greatest opportunity? John Golden certainly has done just that. After a career ending knee injury that he suffered during college, John experienced pain and lack of mobility in both knees. John endured 23 knee surgeries including a revolutionary human transplant on his left leg in 2005. Through this difficulty, John started the LiveActive Fund for Orthopedic Research.The goal is to raise awareness for alternative treatments that allow people to resume an active lifestyle. Starting in late 2007, John began climbing mountains as a means of rehabilitation and to show what is possible with a tissue transplant. John inspires audiences to reach their own personal summit turning their obstacles into opportunities to overcome and to give back. Hear John's story to help you move mountains.
