Episode Description

You've probably never thought of autism as a "miracle," but for today's guest, Elaine Hall, it certainly is. Elaine was a top acting coach in Hollywood, until she decided it was time to adopt a little boy from Russia. This angel, whom she named Neal, changed the path of her life forever - not just because she became a mom, but because he was soon diagnosed with autism. Her life became centered around how to connect with him, teach him, and bring out his full potential. She broke new ground in doing so, that she's since come to share with families all over the world who have autistic children. The United Nations selected Elaine's memoir, Now I See the Moon: A Mother, a Son, and the Miracle of Autism, for World Autism Awareness Day. And her second book, Seven Keys to Unlock Autism, has won honors, as well. She is the Founder/Creator of The Miracle Project, which helps autistic children through the arts, the same way she created a miracle in her son. Please share this hope with others.
