Leading Yourself and Others Through Two Taboo Realities: Tobacco Use and Sexual Violence
February 19, 2016
Hosted by Hemda Mizrahi
At the core of leadership is the ability to tell the truth about your life, your organization, and the world around you - and choosing to make a difference. Sometimes this requires facing issues that some consider uncomfortable or taboo. This episode will explore the ways in which tobacco use and sexual violence impact health and well-being, create challenges for leaders, and prevent organizations and communities from reaching their full potential. Two experts in leadership and social change, Peter Prichard and Sarah Beaulieu, will provide insights on how addressing these topics head-on can advance your work as a leader and the groups you serve. Sarah and Peter will also share resources, and steps that you can take to move forward, be a peak performing person, and contribute to the common good when bad things happen to you.
