Episode Description

Globalization is here to stay. We all know those who would like to roll back the times when companies and talent did not have to compete in a global arena. However, we all know you can never go back and progress can sometimes be very painful if you don’t prepare.
My guest this week is Clare Novak who was highlighted in the New York Times for her global HR practices and how she worked through the recession. Clare has worked in some remote and tough places in the world and will share her perspective on the implications of globalization on people. She will share her firsthand knowledge and insights as well as what she has learned about unconscious bias. You will hear some surprising things that you did not expect and how to deal with them.
