This episode will highlight the journey of one woman who began the healing process after an abortion, found hope and healing, and now helps others do the same. In previous episodes Michaelene and Skyler have discussed a wide variety of topics surrounding reproductive loss, as well as shared anonymous stories, and tips for becoming a safe place for hurting men and women. Now it is time to hear from someone who will share her personal experience. Special guest Leslie Brunolli will share her story of healing, and what she is doing now to help bring hope to the lives of other women impacted by abortion.

Life After Abortion is designed to open up a conversation about the variety of ways abortion can impact the lives of men, women, family members and friends who have experienced it. Hosts Michaelene Fredenburg and Skyler Christensen, along with their guests, will gently delve into the silent pain that can accompany reproductive grief and loss. In addition to gaining insight into the healing process, listeners will be given practical tools to best care for hurting family members and friends. Show segments include “I Care Tips,” resource highlights, question of the week and featured topics such as reproductive trauma, disenfranchised grief, healing models and safe place language.
Michaelene Fredenburg with Co-Host Skyler Christensen
Michaelene Fredenburg is an author and frequent speaker at universities and events. With 25 years of experience in the area of after abortion care and healing, she has written numerous articles about reproductive grief and loss. Michaelene has participated in over 100 radio and television programs. She has also advocated before United States House and Senate Committee hearings about the need for studies that evaluate the emotional and physical impact of all pregnancy outcomes, and has presented to physician delegates from Afghanistan, India, and Pakistan through the State Department’s International Visitors Program. She is the founder of the Abortion Changes You outreach, which is designed to help hurting men and women who have been touched by abortion.
