Tamara’s Relationship Transformations helps people identify unhealthy emotional and physically abusive relationships, but also discusses positive relationships and how to transition to them. As a 911 Operator, Tamara found herself on the other end of the line when people of every age, ethnic group and economic status did unthinkable things. During this rare opportunity to be able to listen to what went on behind closed doors, Tamara came to know that toxic relationships can happen to anyone. Listening to Tamara’s Relationship Transformations is like having a chat with a girlfriend in a coffee shop. Many people who suffer from toxic relationships do not have friends because their abuser has isolated them but you have a friend now. Tamara together with her expert guests will identify the traits of many different types of toxic relationships, teach you how to avoid them and transition to transformation.
Tamara Neal is a Certified Relationship coach, domestic violence advocate and multi award winning author who learned to trust her instincts while employed as a Baltimore 911 Operator. For years, in the seeming eternity between calling 911 and the arrival of the police, Neal was the only help available for the person on the other end of the phone and came to know that domestic violence could happen to anyone, anywhere, including her. During this time, she received a national diploma in emergency dispatch. Her dispatch experience gave her the authority needed to write her 2015 National Indie Award of Excellence book, Venomous Relationships, a book penned to expose common less talked about toxic relationships. Neal is also the author of The World's Top Ten Worst Men for Women Guide and two children's books, “Kinship and Friendship,” which is a 2015 National Indie Award of Excellence finalist, in the children’s motivational inspirational category. Neal is currently working on her soon to be released book “Baltimore 911 Operator Breaks the Silence.” Her articles have appeared in CNN, Mind Body Green, Chispas Magazine and Edge Newspapers. Neal has been interviewed on the national Jesse Lee Peterson Show and Dr. Tranquility Talks, appeared on the Fox affiliate morning show, Good Day DC (Fox 5) and Baltimore’s WBFF-TV 45.
