Helen Saul Case returns to The Power of Natural Healing with a new book, "Vitamins & Pregnancy: the Real Story." We have enjoyed reading her past books, as her writing style is straightforward, accessible, easy to understand, encyclopedic in content, with a wry humor that reminds us of her brilliant father, Dr. Andrew Saul, but with a woman's touch. Ms. Case addresses a great gap in information available to women, and that is the real story, backed up with science and years of data, of how women can really affect their pregnancy experience and the health and well being of their babies before, during and even far after delivery. Men may be able to sympathize with women going through this nearly universal (for women) experience, but will never understand the daily grind, the often terrifying dearth of real information, and the immense responsibility of building a new human being with their own bodies, especially in these times of grotesque medical disinformation.

Howard Straus
Mr. Howard Straus, son of Charlotte Gerson and grandson of Dr. Max Gerson, graduated from MIT with a degree in physics. He was a US naval officer during the Viet Nam war and worked for many years as a computer systems analyst. Howard was Editor-in-Chief of the Gerson Healing Newsletter for ten years and authored an award-winning biography of Dr. Gerson called Dr. Max Gerson: Healing the Hopeless, published in 2002.
Howard was the founding Director of the Gerson Healing Center in Sedona, Arizona, that provided the Gerson Therapy directly to visitors from all over the world. Howard also served on the Board of the Gerson Institute for fifteen years and initiated their Worldwide Web presence during the earliest days of the Internet.
Mr. Straus founded Gerson Health Media that publishes the guidebooks for implementing Gerson Therapy and manages the rapidly expanding library of books and booklets being released around the world. Howard appears on radio, television and Internet interviews, and regularly speaks throughout the world.
