Episode Description

The buzz: “A satisfied customer is the best business strategy of all” (Michael Leboef). The pressure on companies to create compelling customer experiences is so fierce, it has been elevated to the C-Suite. A key strategy is personalization, being “in the moment” with the consumer. What will the customer experience look like tomorrow as companies seek to delight consumers and confound competitors across industry lines? The experts speak. Andreas Hauser, SAP: “You’ve got to start with the customer experience and work back toward the technology, not the other way around” (Steve Jobs). Maricel Cabahug, SAP: “I have been impressed with the urgency of doing. Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Being willing is not enough; we must do” (Leonardo da Vinci). Jennifer Ford, SAP: “The wise know their weakness too well to assume infallibility: and he who knows most, knows best how little he knows” (Thomas Jefferson).
