Journaling Fame While Overcoming Anxiety
May 9, 2017
Hosted by Dr. Carole Lieberman
In honor of May being Mental Health Awareness month, today's show features Allison Kugel, author of the newly released book Journaling Fame: A Memoir of a Life Unhinged and on the Record. Allison is a celebrity journalist who has interviewed more than 200 stars, from the Kardashians to Kristin Chenoweth, Stan Lee to Soprano's Joe Pantoliano, Melissa Rivers to many more. Allison speaks of her double life. On the inside, a woman struggling with anxiety, panic, depression, and obsessive compulsive disorder. On the outside, entertainment/pop culture journalist and celebrity confidante. But, this is not only an intimate memoir. Through this book, Allison is hoping to be the voice for people living with anxiety disorders, to help them break through the stigma and get help, just as she did.
