Healthy Sex Drive, Healthy You: What Your Libido Reveals About Your Life
May 19, 2017
Hosted by Colette Malan
In this show Colette will interview Dr. Diana Hoppe, award-winning author of the book: Healthy Sex Drive, Healthy You. Dr. Hoppe is a board-certified OB/GYN in Encinitas, California. Diana has been called the “Hormone Queen” because of her success in helping women turn up their sex drive by balancing and optimizing their hormones. Dr. Hoppe will talk about why sex is so important to a woman’s health and well-being. She will explain how a woman’s sexual desire is impacted by puberty, menstrual cycle phases, pregnancy, motherhood, and menopause. She will address how stress, birth control, illness, and medications affect libido and what women can do to reduce the impact of these challenges and keep their sex drives up. Diana will explain how differences in the male and female brain set men and women sexually at odds, but she’ll also tell us how to manage these differences, and how to get the fire of sexual connection blazing again.
