Episode Description

The ART of being a happy VETERANS is doing something that you love and then you'll love the life you have. Having a hobby helps you get out all the frustration that you encounter in life, and just being alive in the 21st-century can be frustrating sometimes. That doesn't account for being a veteran who just left a war zone dealing with people who don't understand military life and don't appreciate the sacrifices that they've made for them. Some people think that anyone who went overseas and came back has PTSD and they are nuts. It is unfortunate that so few people have been through the marvelous discipline of being in the military and learning how to live as a band of brothers looking out for each other and learning to be accountable for they're actions. My goodness – they actually say, "Yes Mam, and no Mam." What millennial does that? They need an outlet for the stresses of returning to civilian life. What better than Art? Tune in and find out?

Dr. Sarah M. Young (DrRed)

Internationally recognized print and broadcast journalist, DrRed, has performed in radio and television since she was seven years old. Her last program, the Mind, Body, and Spirit show, featured practitioners such as Deepak Chopra, and others in allopathic and Ayurvedic medicine. With her two doctorates, many certificates in crystal healing, Reiki, Hypnotherapy and such, she’s been called the fusion of Mr. Spock and James Van Prague.

Having survived blindness, paralysis, 30-plus surgeries, brain cancer in 1988, and losing 150 pounds, she knows the value of humor to heal. After recovering from just about everything, she now shares her accomplishments with the world through her nonprofit foundation for veterans and other organizations. She is founder of The So Brave Foundation for veterans, to which the show is dedicated.

DrRed is on a mission to share all the healing modalities that helped her get back on her feet and full of life again. If she can do it, you can do it, and have fun while you're at it. For one hour, rest your body, open your mind and get in the spirit. A session with DrRed is an adventure.

Now recovered from what was deemed terminal cancer, Dr Red is here to encourage you to be healed, healthy and whole, while learning to laugh and love life again.
