After years of immersion in the diverse fitness communities in North America and Europe, Matt and Raeanne Kinch share with us the belief of The Sweat Lab and its purpose within the community. Instead of simplifying and fixating on one particular fitness course, they explain why they chose multiple facets. Matt and Raeanne also stress the importance of the community created from the physical workout, but also the mental and emotional support provided among clients, owners and instructors. This show will touch on work-life balance, its importance in leading a healthy lifestyle and the interesting path that lead to the creation of The Sweat Lab Fitness Studio.

David made a geographical and career move at the age of 40, with a wife and three children. David adapted to two different cultures and countries, Canada and Israel. David’s wife, Zohar, is becoming a well-known artist, David’s one son is living in Los Angeles pursuing his career, David’s second son teaches English in Japan, and David’s daughter is attending her second year at one of Canada’s top business schools, the University of Western Ontario. David’s success in supporting his family comes with a timeline of personal and professional accomplishments.
From 1988 to 1994 David was the Chairman and General Manager of the Maccabi Haifa Basketball Club as a volunteer when the team was on the verge of bankruptcy. David left the team with zero debt and a strong foundation for the team’s future. In 2000, David joined Barclay Street Real Estate Ltd. He became the sole owner in 2009. In 2014 David launched Triumph Real Estate Fund and in 2015 David was the recipient of the Calgary Leaders of the Future Award by Business in Calgary Magazine.
David’s hard work has also been recognized when Barclay Street Real Estate was awarded the Consumer Choice Award for Commercial Real Estate on two occasions. David has also become a CCIM Member, a Co-chair of the Calgary Economic Development Real Estate Committee and board member of TCN Worldwide Real Estate Services.
Barry Beitler is the founder and President of Beitler Commercial Realty Services. Founded in 1979, Beitler Commercial has been one of the leading commercial real estate firms in Southern California for over 36 years. Beitler Commercial is the Southern California affiliate of TCN Worldwide. Mr. Beitler serves on the Board of Directors of the organization. Barry has been involved in numerous real estate organizations both locally and nationally. He was a founding member of GVA Worldwide and served as the 1994 President of the organization. He also was the co-founder of LACRA (Los Angeles Commercial Real Estate Association). Barry has also acted as a Principal in buying and developing commercial office, retail, industrial and apartment projects on numerous transactions throughout California and the United States. Jeff is a speaker, author, success coach, broadcast personality and lawyer. He heads Blackman & Associates - a results-producing business-growth firm in the Chicago area. George Brookman is well known in Calgary's business & volunteer community. He is a third-generation Albertan, born in Calgary. Most of his early career was spent in the Real Estate Development Industry; initially with Manulife Financial and then later as Vice President of Development for ATCO Ltd. In 1984, he acquired West Canadian Industries Group, Canada's leading digital print and document management organization. The company operates as West Canadian Digital Imaging in Calgary, Edmonton and Fort McMurray. In addition to his own company, George serves on the Board of Directors for Obsidian Energy as the Chairman of the Governance Committee. Jim Button, a leader in networked marketing for over 25-years, is a founder of Village Brewery. David & Cole, native Calgarian brothers, have used their passion of entrepreneurship to develop and grow their business Rosso Coffee Roasters. They currently operate 7 cafes, managed a wholesale network north of 100 accounts, and travel the world purchasing from local producers in developing nations. David Crosby graduate Acadia University in 2007 with a BBA and made his way back to Calgary. Due to the economic climate, instead of trading stock and managing portfolios as he had planned, David’s path took a turn and lead him to the world of coffee. The first Cafe Rosso, since rebranded as Rosso Coffee Roasters, had David wearing every hat in the business. Fergal Duff B.Sc. B.Arch. (Hons.), PMP, MRAIC, RIBA
Fergal Duff has over 17 years' experience in the real estate development sector and carries the professional accreditation of MRAIC, RIBA and PMP. After graduation in 2000 from the prestigious school of University College Dublin achieving B.Arch. Giuseppe De Gennaro
Born in Pozzuoli, Italy, Chef Giuseppe Di Gennaro has brought passion and innovation to the Calgary dining scene over the last 19-years with the creation of his restaurants; Il Sogno, CAP, Borgo Trattoria, and his latest venture Cotto Italian Comfort Food.
After working in his homeland at various restaurants, Giuseppe left Italy at age 17 for the bright lights of London, England. Plying his trade, he worked his way up through the ranks in several high-end London establishments in the mid- to late 80’s. With his experience gained from working in Italy, London and Australia, Giuseppe and his Australian wife settled in Calgary in 1996, and he has since become and impressive and high-profile member of the city’s restaurant scene.

Rev. Dr. Danielle Ayana James

Matt Kinch is a native of Red Deer, AB and played junior hockey with the Calgary Hitmen. Matt enjoyed a 12-year professional hockey career in both North America and Europe before retiring in 2012. After his retirement, Matt worked as an Account Manager in the Oil and Gas Industry before co-founding The Sweat Lab Fitness Studio. Raeanne Kinch is a native Calgarian and dancer from the age of three, Raeanne is one of the co-founders of The Sweat Lab Fitness Studio in Calgary, AB. After completing her post-secondary education in Business Management, she joined her husband on a 12-year journey around the world while he pursued his career in professional hockey. During those years, Raeanne was not only able to research and gain experience in the diverse fitness communities, she also ran and home-based wedding cake business. Raeanne is a certified Group Fitness Instructor, Barre, Spin, and Pilates Instructor. John, a native Calgarian began his earlier years in education at Strathcona Tweedsmuir School and finalized that education in Economics at Bishop’s University in Quebec, Canada. Walker McKinley is one of half of the firm’s founding partnership, holding a Master of Design Studies (with Distinction) from Harvard University and a Master of Architecture degree (with Honours) from the University of Calgary. Pat is the publisher owner of three regional magazines, Business in Calgary and Business in Edmonton and Farming For Tomorrow. Pat's national magazine, Canadian Funeral News, serves the funeral profession. Pat has spent close to 30-years in the publishing business in many industries and sectors. Cole Torode graduate Webber Academy in 2009 with post-graduation hopes of travelling and spending a year abroad. Cole’s path instead lead him elsewhere, joining Rosso in the spring of 2010, the void unfulfilled by travel ignited a fire to pursue coffee further. John calls Calgary home, but has lived in a number of Canadian cities. Born in Big Springs, Texas of Canadian parents, he lived the majority of his life in Canada after completing high school in Edmonton, attended Royal Roads Military College in Victoria, BC and Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario. John has been in the real estate business in Calgary since 1972. In 1973, he founded Torode Realty which he expanded into Edmonton in 1990. In 1995 Torode purchased Knowlton Realty with offices in Toronto and Vancouver. The brokerage business was sold in 2004. Dimitry Toukhcher immigrated from the Ukraine to Canada at 9-years old. Over a six-year period Dimitry exclusively financed his education selling books door-to-door and increasing revenues to over $1M annually, allowing him to graduate debt free from UBC’s Sauder School of Business with a Commerce Degree, double majoring in Management Information Systems & Marketing. Darvin Zurfluh is the Founder and Chairman of Pinnacle Wealth Brokers, a National Exempt Dealer registered from Nova Scotia to British Columbia.
