Kevin Crutchfield, M.D.
Kevin Crutchfield, M.D., director of the Comprehensive Sports Concussion Program at the Sandra and Malcolm Berman Brain & Spine Institute of LifeBridge Health, has been appointed to the National Football League Players Association Concussion and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Committee. Dr. Crutchfield has dedicated much of his professional career to the study and treatment of mild brain injury. Many types of mild brain injury, such as concussions, occur from a significant blow to the head, such as a helmet-to-helmet collision in football. Dr. Crutchfield has been a leader in the study of blood flow to the brain and the changes that occur after a concussion occurs.
