James Komorowski, M.S.
James Komorowski, M.S., has served as Vice President, Technical Services and Scientific Affairs since July 2001, prior to which he served as Director, Technical Services and Director, Product Development from July 1999 to July 2001 and as a Senior Manager, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs from July, 1997 to July 1999. Prior to his employment at Nutrition 21, Inc., Mr. Komorowski spent nine years in the pharmaceutical industry holding project management, clinical research and regulatory affairs positions at Purdue Pharma L.P. and Allergan Inc. He also worked for three years in academia as a research associate at New York Hospital for Special Surgery and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Over his career, Mr. Komorowski has completed more than 100 research studies, submitted over 10 regulatory submissions to the FDA, is an inventor on over 12 patents. Mr. Komorowski received a BA degree in biology from the State University of New York and a M.S. in medical biology from Long Island University.
